By recording and sharing stories and artworks, the project will give voice to land managers, farmers and rural communities raising awareness of the challenges they face, and developing a local archive documenting the cultural value of farmland and rural landscapes.

The lead artists will engage North Shropshire communities with projects on agroforestry and creative mapping of three sites near Weston Rhyn: Bronygarth Orchard Garden, established tree nursery and collective of food producers; the adjacent Temple Field Agroforestry Research Site; and Berllan Deg Farm.

In an international cultural exchange, the project will link with a parallel project SOIL+AiR (artist in residence) led by artist Kim V. Goldsmith in New South Wales, Australia to share and discuss work in seminar and workshop events.
